While a lot of people are still crying foul over WB firing Johnny Depp, the production of Fantastic Beasts 3 still has to move forward, and Mads Mikkelsen has been cast as the new big villain. While we don't know what Mikkelsen is going to look like in costume, DeepCaked on Youtube has come up with a great DeepFake video replacing Depp's performance in Fantastic Beasts 2 with Mikkelsen.

After The announcement that Mads Mikkelsen will be replacing Johnny Depp as Grindelwald in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts 3, I thought It would be nice to see a sneak peek of what that would look like!!
While I am bummed about how Depp's case was kind of thrown out the window, I do think that Mads Mikkelsen is the perfect choice for his replacement. Heck, they should have cast him even before they put Depp in the role if they are going to replace him anyway. Mikkelsen had played a fantastic villain with Hannibal, and we know that he can pull off that heterosexual tension with anyone—perfect for someone who used to be Dumbledore's love interest.
At this point, I'm actually fine if they just decide to bring Mikkelsen into the picture with no explanation in-story, but it would still be great if they managed to work out another face change for Grindelwald. I mean, he was Colin Farrell for most of the first movie; what if they just had a different actor play Grindelwald in every film?
