Deadpool Reportedly Set For MCU Debut In Spider-Man 3

There's a good reason why fans got excited when Disney finally acquired 20th Century Fox. After all, this meant that the X-Men can finally exist in the same universe as the characters in the Marvel Studios films. However, it looks like one of the huge major plans in the future could involve Deadpool meeting Peter Parker in Spider-Man 3.

A new report from MCU Cosmic teases on what Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is considering for Wade Wilson. After all, the two Deadpool films (and the PG-13 Christmas special) have proven that the character is a guaranteed box office hit. There are reportedly three options being considered at the moment. One involves yet another sequel starring Ryan Reynolds while a second one means to pursue a Disney+ series featuring the Merc With A Mouth.

So what's the third option? Marvel Studios might be thinking about introducing Deadpool to the MCU by having him team up with everyone's favorite webslinger in Spider-Man 3. This could mean that the third Spider-Man movie will actually star both Reynolds and Tom Holland.

It's an interesting idea that isn't anything new. After all, the two characters have their own 50-issue comic book series that is a great hit on its own. Of course, MCU's Spider-Man is still a lot younger than the one who has to deal with Wade in the comic books but we're still interested to see this project actually get the green light.
