Deadpool Creator Reveals 'Dreadpool' for Upcoming Major X Series

Rob Liefeld, whether you love him or hate him, has created some pretty iconic characters for Marvel Comics, with Deadpool and Cable recently making Fox a ton of money with Deadpool 2. The comic creator recently announced that Deadpool: Badder Blood and Major X would be the last time we will be seeing him work on The Merc With a Mouth but it looks like he wants to end his tenure with a bang.

On his Instagram, Liefeld revealed that he is working on a new foe for Deadpool simply known as Dreadpool, who will be making his debut in Major X #1. We see the new Liefeld creation punch Cable, one of his older characters, and it looks like he will be quite the threat. Granted, some fans might judge the design a bit since it looks a little too similar to Wade Wilson.

Here's hoping he gets a different color palette in the future.

The art we see is pretty much what everyone expects from Liefeld, so you either love it or hate it. We all know how divisive his artwork is but, let's be honest, he kind of owns it and that makes his illustrations slightly endearing. For better or worse.

Major X #1 comes out this April. Are you excited for Dreadpool?
