DC's Tom King Getting Death Threats Over Heroes in Crisis #8

So yeah, this is going to be one of those sad "comic book fans suck" kind of story. Tom King, who you may know from Batman, The Vision, and Mister Miracle, has recently received death threats for his controversial Heroes in Crisis series, particularly issue #8. The comic book finally reveals who the killer is and fans aren't pleased but this has resulted in some going overboard and sending King death threats.

King tweeted out how he had to block and report someone after the release of Heroes in Crisis #8, revealing that this has been too common lately when it shouldn't be. It's hard to disagree with him. Say what you will about the comic books he writes but you don't have to hate them. Criticize? Sure. Send them death threats? That's too much.

The writer has also urged fans to read the issue first before checking out the many spoiler/clickbait articles that reveal who the killer of Heroes in Crisis is. Reading articles just gives fans the spoilers but checking out the issue itself will reveal more context, which is all we could ask for. You have to feel for King since death threats suck and we can only hope Twitter bans the user who sent it.

Heroes in Crisis #8 is available in comic book stores now. It is written by Tom King and drawn by Clay Mann.
