DC Universe Series Stargirl Will Also Air on The CW

Before Black Adam made it known that the JSA would appear, fans were happy to know that the group would have a prominent role in the upcoming DC Universe Stargirl show. Similar to the DC comic inspired by it, Stargirl will be in a new version of the Justice Society of America, with a mix of younger and older heroes. Most of us thought that the show would be exclusive to the DC Universe service but it turns out that The CW will be airing the show as well.

The CW announced that Stargirl will be showing in their network a day after it debuts on DC Universe. As if that wasn't enough to be excited about, Stargirl will also be streamable on The CW's various free streaming services, which is pretty crazy. Giving the show more places to call home is great for its exposure, especially since so many fans are used to DC content from The CW.

Stargirl on The CW could also mean potential crossovers with The Flash or Supergirl, though that was not discussed. While it's more likely to crossover with Titans or Doom Patrol, due to the show being a DC Universe original but you never know. I mean, Crisis on Infinite Earths is coming out soon and that features a ton of alternate universes.

No official release date has been revealed but Stargirl is slated for a 2020 release.
