Rumor has it that David Zaslav has appointed the DC Extended Universe's "Kevin Feige-like" figure in Dan Lin and while it seems like the franchise is truly on the verge of a rebirth, some people are actually feeling skeptical about him leading the DCEU under the Warner Bros. Discovery merger. Other fans are hopeful that Lin will at least have his finger on the pulse and will actually listen to what the fandom wants.

Turns out, Lin and current DC Films President Walter Hamada, who will soon step away from the franchise share one thing in common and that is their dislike of the Snyder fandom. Speaking with The Ankler Hot Seat podcast last month, the former WB executive discussed his would-have-been promotion over a decade ago as the DCEU's chief.

Lin went on to mock the Justice League director's passionate fans, saying that he would've also been on the receiving end of their wrath, similar to how the likes of Hamada and Geoff Johns were constantly bombarded with demands to continue Snyder's original plans for the franchise.

Lin has yet to address his previous comments but his apparent disdain for Zack Snyder's fandom could spell doom for the SnyderVerse movement. Hopefully, he doesn't have a personal beef with the director because with recent rumors claiming that he'll be back in the franchise in 2023, everyone in Zaslav's "New DC" should definitely be on the same page.

Meanwhile, speaking of Walter Hamada, he will officially step down as DC Films boss after Black Adam which is currently slated for release on October 21, 2022.
