DC Comics has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming DC FanDome event that will be held this coming October 16. The virtual convention is set to give us a look at the upcoming DC films, shows, video games, and comic books as well as panels with the creatives involved. As confirmed at the end of the trailer, the new trailer for The Batman will premiere during the event.
The trailer was only a minute long, but it gave us quick footage of their several upcoming films and shows that will be featured during the event. Most notably, it showed us a look at Robert Pattinson's Batman facing off Zoe Kravitz's Catwoman on The Batman. There's also the first look at Vigilante on Peacemaker as well as a second-long first glimpse on Black Adam and The Flash. You can view the trailer here:
The DC FanDome event will have an impressive lineup. Besides the aforementioned films and shows, they will also show the first look at DC League of Super-Pets and behind the scenes looks at Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. On the television side, they are offering a look at the new seasons/episodes of Batwoman, The Flash, Superman & Lois, Stargirl, Titans, Doom Patrol, and Sweet Tooth, a farewell tribute to the soon-to-end Supergirl, a celebration of 100 episodes of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and an exclusive look at the upcoming shows Naomi and DMZ. In addition, the event will also feature DC's upcoming video games, comic books, animated series, and animated films.
It is exciting to find out what the event has in store for us. They have hinted that there will be some surprises coming that we should all look out for. As you can also see, they are using The Flash concept art featuring Ezra Miller's The Flash and Michael Keaton's Batman as their thumbnail which hints that they will give us our first-ever look at their multiversal crossover and it will be one of the major highlights of the event.
