Stone is no stranger to the DC universe as she also previously played the villain in the maligned Catwoman facing off Halle Berry. She is known for her iconic roles in films such as Basic Instinct, Casino (where she received an Oscar nomination), Total Recall, The Specialist, and The Quick and the Dead. She also recently made appearances in TV shows such as Ratched, Murderville, Mosaic, The New Pope, and the upcoming second season of The Flight Attendant.

It is exciting to hear that Stone will be joining the cast as she is a big-name addition and it's very curious to see how she'll play in the story as the villain especially since it's a new character. She's also a wonderful actress who has received a lot of accolades so far in her career. Her role in Blue Beetle will also be her most prominent film role in years and it's always great whenever someone of her caliber gets involved in a high-profile comic book movie.
