Steve Johnson and Kayla Brady are two of Days of Our Lives' most adored and pivotal characters. The couple has seen it all, and viewers have been enthralled by the drama that has unfolded around them for decades.
Of course, children play a role in their love story. While Steve is the father of Tripp Vitali, Ava Vitali's son, he also has two children with Kayla, Stephanie, and Joey.

Stephanie Johnson returns in Days of Our Lives
Days of Our Lives viewers will soon see Stephanie Johnson return to the canvas, according to Soaps. The character will appear on both the NBC soap opera and its spin-off series, Beyond Salem, which will be available on the Peacock app.
However, Shelley Hennig, who played the character previously, will not be reprising her role. According to Us Weekly, Henning, who played in the hit TV drama Teen Wolf, is busy working on the series' movie continuation, leaving actress Abigail Klein to fill Stephanie's shoes.
Stephanie was last seen on Days of Our Lives in 2017 when she came to Salem for her parents' wedding.

"We'll see her first in Beyond Salem," writer Ron Carlivati revealed. "One of the great things about [the spinoff] is that it gives us an opportunity to catch up with people who have left town, given that almost the entire story takes place in these other locations.”
“This is an example of that. It will be interesting to find out where she is in her life, and what might bring her back to Salem," he added.
Stephanie's family dynamic may have changed now that she has a new half-brother, Tripp, when she returns to Salem. Of course, Days of Our Lives fans are overjoyed that the iconic character is returning, and they can't wait to see what she has in store for her.
