- Quick Answer: David Harbour dismissed the bullying rumors as false, attributing any on-set tension to a normal family-like disagreement that they easily resolved by talking it out.
David Harbour has set the record straight on the rumors that his Stranger Things co-star Millie Bobby Brown filed a bullying and harassment claim against him.
Last year, there were reports that Brown filed a harassment and bullying complaint against Harbour before the final season of the hit Netflix series was filmed, and there were "pages of accusations" and "the investigation went on for months." Neither Brown nor Harbour commented on the rumor when it made its waves online at that time.
The rumor was seemingly put to rest when they posed together on the red carpet at the premiere of the final season. They shared a hug and chatted in their various interactions throughout the event.
What is David Harbour's Reaction to the Millie Bobby Brown Bullying Rumors?

In an interview with Variety, Harbour finally addressed the rumors of his beef with Brown on the set of Stranger Things and the alleged bullying and harassment complaints against him.
The actor described the reporting as false and admitted that he had a "breakdown" when the story came. He also questioned the timing since it came a week after the release of his ex-wife Lily Allen's album.
"[We] worked together for 10 years during her formative teenage years, playing father and daughter. I don’t know if people have families and friends that you spend a lot of time with for 10 years — you occasionally get in arguments, disagreements," he said.
"In families, it’s OK because you’re just in a disagreement, and then you come back together. The problem with a billion-dollar show is that there’s just hundreds of people who want to get involved."
Harbour also admitted that he had behaved in "embarrassing" ways on the set of Stranger Things, which led to stressful moments at times.
"I do suffer from some confusing stuff — it’s confusing as hell. I think a lot of people have a friend or a brother or a co-worker that deals with mental health stuff, and they’re probably pretty confused when that person gets depressed or gets manic or has an episode," he explained.
"Under times of extreme stress, that can cause somewhat erratic behavior, and it’s embarrassing, and I’m ashamed of it. It’s not something I choose, and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I do feel like, for some of us, our gifts are inextricably linked with our illnesses."
Harbour continued, "To have a nervous system that reacts to the world in a too-delicate way can allow me to have that moment that I love [in DTF St. Louis] on the swings with Jason [Bateman]. But it can also force me, in moments of extreme stress, to act a little weird."
Are David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown Planning to Work Together Again?

Harbour teased that he and Brown are planning to work on another project again, but he declined to give out any details.
"Millie and I are working on several [projects]… You’ll see more of me and Millie — 10 years wasn’t enough. There is a special bond there. I love her. She loves me," he said.
In a statement to Variety, Brown also expressed her support and adoration for Harbour throughout the years that they worked together in Stranger Things.
"Obviously, I changed so much from Season 1 to Season 5, and David was there through all of it. Over time, our relationship became much more collaborative creatively," she said.
"When you work with someone for that many years, we could really push each other emotionally in scenes. Even though the series has ended, there’s still a lot of gratitude. Getting to share that experience with him for so many years is something I’ll always remember and value."
