Darcy’s ‘Key Role’ in WandaVision Revealed

Though Natalie Portman's Jane Foster is kind of bland, she has some great supporting character friends, one of them being Kat Dennings' Darcy. Darcy is set to make her MCU return in WandaVision, and we may have some new details on what is described as her ‘key role.'

According to sources from Murphy's Multiverse, Darcy is going to be essential in helping put Vision back together after the events of Endgame. The site writes:

… Someone is collecting the parts of the synthezoid Avenger and reassembling him. When Vision finally finds himself humpty-dumptied back together again, much like in the Vision Quest arc, he finds his memories are not intact; in fact, he has absolutely no recollection of his demise at the hands of Wanda (nor, apparently much of the time following the work done on him by Shuri) and it falls on the shoulders of Kat Denning's Darcy to fill in the blanks. We don't quite know how Darcy and Vision end up crossing paths but we've heard from sources that Darcy ends up being a key figure in getting Vision back on his feet.

If you've watched the trailer, you'll know that Vision's death still happened in this canon, but this Vision won't have the memories of what transpired. We don't really know why Darcy is the go-to source of help for Vision, but seeing as she did have ties to Thor and the events surrounding his films, I think it's likely that Darcy would have found herself employed by SHIELD or SWORD.

Personally, I'm just happy to see more of Kat Dennings. I think she makes for great comic relief and I was missing her by the time Thor: Ragnarok came around. Hopefully, they find a way to solidify her role in the MCU with WandaVision, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

WandaVision is set to come to Disney+ sometime later this year.
