Daniel Radcliffe Reacts to Being Hugh Jackman's Wolverine Replacement

There is little doubt that people are already looking forward to Wolverine's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut soon. However, they are also curious about the next actor who will portray the mutant after Hugh Jackman. So is it true that Daniel Radcliffe will take over the coveted role in the MCU? The Harry Potter star has once again spoken up about replacing Jackman as the X-Men hero!

Fans have long speculated about Daniel Radcliffe taking over as Wolverine after Hugh Jackman announced his retirement as the mutant. After all, people kept pointing out that the Guns Akimbo star was the perfect size for the role. But will Marvel Studios actually tap Radcliffe for Wolverine's MCU debut?

Radcliffe recently spoke to Comicbook.com where he was once again asked about the Wolverine casting. Not surprisingly, Radcliffe once again denied being cast for the MCU role.

"So many times, people come to me like, 'hey man, heard the Wolverine news, that's pretty cool.' No, I don't know anything about it. Like, I appreciate that somebody is clearly going like 'Wolverine's actually short in the comic books, you should get like a short guy to do it!'" Radcliffe said.

He then continued by stating that although he is the right size, he feels that he isn't right for the role. However, that would have to be Marvel Studios' decision.

"But I don't see myself, I don't see them going from Hugh Jackman to me. But who knows? Prove me wrong, Marvel," Radcliffe said.

Daniel Radcliffe isn't the only actor who is being asked whether he would be the next Wolverine. Hugh Jackman's Eddie the Eagle co-star Taron Egerton is also one of the fan favorites to take over the role. However, Egerton has also denied being cast for the MCU.
