Dancing with the Stars season 33's Halloween Nightmares Night saw the seven remaining couples celebrate the spooky season by performing dances inspired by their fears and nightmares.
As expected, one couple was eliminated by the end of the night and placed seventh in the overall tally of this season's competition. Let's recap below.
What Happened in Dancing with the Stars Season 33's Halloween Nightmares Night?
The night opened with a performance of "Murder on the Dancefloor" by Sophie Ellis-Bextor. It was choreographed by Emma Slater and Gleb Savchenko.
There were also performances of "Aserejé" by Jean Massey (choreographed by Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov) and "The Ballad of Witches' Road (Scared Chant Version)" from Agatha All Along (choreographed by Britt Stewart and Ezra Sosa).
Derek Hough also notably held a master class focused on wardrobe tips, a fun bit that some of the viewers enjoyed.
The biggest standouts of the night are Chandler Kinney & Brandon Armstrong and Joey Graziadei & Jenna Johnson as they both have overall scores of 32. Each of them also received a score of 10 from two judges.
Another highlight of the night is Dwight Howard & Daniella Karagach's cha-cha dance-off performance as they managed to bear Ilona Maher & Alan Bersten to the surprise of some viewers. They performed the iconic "Ghostbusters" theme song by Ray Parker Jr.
Who Got Eliminated in Dancing with the Stars Season 33's Halloween Nightmares Night
Unfortunately, Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber were eliminated in the Halloween Nightmares Night round of Dancing with the Stars season 33.
They performed a contemporary dance of "Vampire" by Olivia Rodrigo. While judges were impressed by their performances in both the main round and dance-offs, they were still eliminated.
The couple's elimination was very shocking as they had successful performances where seemingly it would lead them to a safe spot by the end of the night. However, that was not the case.
Jenn expressed gratitude to her partner and the entire Dancing of the Stars team for the experience that she had throughout the season.
As a result of their elimination, only six remaining couples are competing for the next round which will be the show's 500th episode.
