Curtis June (played by Desmond Eastwood) is described as an irresponsible and reckless man. But no one dared to cross his path. After all, he is a dangerous man.
Curtis believes he is a revolutionary who is fighting for the freedom of Ireland.
Together with his sister, Doireann McCann (played by Kerry Condon), they are part of the group responsible for the recent blast on Shankill Road that killed a few kids.
But in reality, he is an abusive terrorist who will do anything to get what he wants. This includes abusing a little girl named Moya (played by Michelle Gleeson), who Finbar Murphy (played by Liam Neeson) is close to.
Who Killed Curtis June?
Even though Finbar is a retired assassin, he has morals. He is also loyal to those he cares about. This includes a barkeeper called Sinead (played by Sarah Greene) and her daughter, Moya.
When Finbar learns that Moya is being abused by Curtis, he decides to intervene. He spoke first with his trusted ally, Robert McQue (played by Colm Meaney), who told him not to meddle. But Finbar decided otherwise.
After assaulting Curtis, Finbar took him to a place to kill him. Unfortunately, his barrel got blocked. Before Curtis had a chance to fight Finbar, he was shot by Kevin (played by Jack Gleeson), Finbar's protégé.
The two hid Curtis' body and did not speak of what happened.

The actor behind the role of Curtis June in In the Land of Saints and Sinners is Desmond Eastwood. He has been acting since 2014.

He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Irish Film and Television Awards for his role in Normal People.
