The much-anticipated release of the Crysis Remastered Trilogy is almost upon us. With Crytek confirming that the game is due for imminent release, we've got all the information you need to prepare yourself for launch day. So strap in, and get ready for everything you need to know about the Crysis Remastered Trilogy release date.

Crysis Remastered Trilogy Release Date

The Crysis Remastered Trilogy will launch on October 15th. The game is officially launching on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, but will be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The game will be available as a digital release via the Epic Games Store, the Nintendo eShop, The Microsoft Store, and the PlayStation Store. According to Crytek, the "Crysis Remastered Trilogy will also receive a physical release for Xbox and PlayStation platforms" due to launch on the same day.

As a bonus, Switch gamers will (at an as yet unknown date in the future) be able to purchase each remastered game individually as a physical copy. They'll also throw in a bonus art card. So that's nice.
If you happen to have already both the original Crysis Remastered, don't worry. Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 Remastered will both be available as standalone purchases on the same date.


Crysis Remastered Trilogy Release Time

We are still waiting to hear exactly what time the Crysis Remastered Trilogy will become available around the world. Some games, like Far Cry 6, release at 12:01 am local time in every timezone. Others though, launch at specific times for each timezone, which can vary considerably depending upon where you live.

What's Included In The Crysis Remastered Trilogy?


The Crysis Remastered Trilogy includes all the single-player campaigns from the original games. These have then been optimized and enhanced, to mark a significant improvement from the originals.
On Series X|S and PS5 consoles, the remasters will play at 60 FPS, somewhere between 1080p and 4K. On PC, provided your hardware can support it, there will be Ray Tracing, as well as the option to either lock in their frame rate, or play it on max settings.

Weapons, environments, and characters have all been enhanced, as has in-game lighting. And performance has been given a boost as well. Check out the video below for a comparison between the Xbox 360 version, and the Remastered version for Xbox One.
