One of the most classic antsy teenage films of all time, Cruel Intentions, is coming to the small screen very soon. It has been 22 years since Cruel Intentions has been released and after a failed attempt by NBC to create a sequel to the film, it finally is getting a TV treatment.

The newest Cruel Intentions reboot will be written by Phoebe Fisher and Sara Goodman, who are both onboard Amazon's upcoming show I Know What You Did Last Summer. They will be joined by one of the movie's original producers as well, Neal Moritz. Pavun Shetty, who also worked on the 1999 Cruel Intentions film, will also be helping in the production of the reboot.
Executive producers listed so far are Andrea Iervolino and Monica Bacardi of Iervolino and Lady Bacardi Entertainment. Bruce Mellon is also onboard and Sony TV is the studio that picked up the Cruel Intentions reboot.

There will be major changes on the Cruel Intentions reboot, according to reports. More characters will be added and the plot will also be full of twists and drama.
According to the latest plot update, the story revolves around the Greek life hierarchy in an elite Washington, D.C. college. Two ruthless siblings will do everything they can to stay on top of this hierarchy.
However, a brutal hazing incident will threaten both their social status and personal life. These two siblings will do everything in their might to preserve their reputation, power, and status, even if lives are at stake.
Cruel Intentions Reboot Cast And Release Date
As of now, the production team is still working on the casting of the Cruel Intentions reboot. Obviously, they hope that some of the original cast from the 1999 film will guest on the show. Furthermore, no release date has also been revealed, as well as the start of the production.
