The CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths has been a highly-anticipated event amongst the fans. Filming is well underway, and some behind-the-scenes photos were already shared by some actors from the show. But a newly released image shows a familiar face from the set of Supergirl, one of the five-episode Arrowverse crossover.

The image comes from YVRShoots, it gives us a first look at Burt Ward on the set of Crisis on Infinite Earths in downtown Vancouver. Ward's role hasn't been officially announced but it looks like he will be playing an older version of Robin. The actor is seen wearing a shirt with colors that match those of the Boy Wonder. However, he was also seen with a german shepherd which led fans to believe that he could be playing Ace the Bat-Hound.

Since he has two contrasting details present in his scene, fans can't seem to pinpoint Burt's role for the Arrowverse crossover. Also, it isn't known if Burt would be introduced from one of the existing universes or in a new one. But Full Circle Cinema says eye witness reports "his home universe will be that of the Batman ‘66 TV series."

You can check out the set photo from YVRShoots here as well as additional photos via Twitter user ThemysciraBound.

Regardless of his role in Crisis on Infinite Earths, fans are excited to see the Robin actor from the classic ‘60s Batman series to play a role in the crossover.

Crisis on Infinite Earths will start with Supergirl on Dec. 8, and continue with Batwoman (Dec. 9) and The Flash (Dec. 10). The whole event ends on Jan. 14 with Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
