Crisis on Infinite Earths recently concluded the event with its last two parts after a month-long hiatus. Learning from the very first episode, fans knew that the Arrowverse crossover will feature huge surprises, but no one expected a DCEU cameo to actually happen.

This article contains SPOILERS for The CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Viewers saw Grant Gustin's The Flash come face-to-face with Ezra Miller's own Scarlet Speedster in Part 4 of the Crisis event. The pair crossed paths in STAR Labs, and surely enough, both of the characters got really confused with what's happening. Eventually, the two gave compliments to each other about their suits, but Miller's Flash slowly faded away.

The fans definitely did not see this coming, and people have been amazed by how producer Marc Guggenheim managed to keep the cameo under wraps. But he did make it known that he wouldn't be able to make this possible without some help.

Taking to Twitter, Guggenheim expressed his gratitude to Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee for making the epic cameo possible, pointing out that he has been "instrumental" in making this happen. You can check out his tweet below.

The cameo is so top-secret that even the cast didn't know about it, including Melissa Benoist saying that Gustin "kept the secret so well" that she wasn't even sure if no one actually knew about it or that everyone knew except for her.

Miller is expected to return as Scarlet Speedster once again in The Flash film which is slated for release on July 1, 2022. All episodes of Crisis on Infinite Earths are available to stream on The CW.
