As part of the series’ 25th-anniversary celebration, Japanese watch brand Kentex revealed a Cowboy Bebop limited edition watch inspired by the series’ protagonist, Spike Spiegel.
This watch is a must-have for the most dedicated of Cowboy Bebop fans thanks to its design, though it won’t be easy to get one.
That’s because only 26 units of this watch will be produced – one for each of the anime’s episodes.
Given how rare it will be, the watch fittingly features an eye-catching design with a lot of references to Spike.
Kentex Reveals Cowboy Bebop 25th Anniversary Watch
Kentex is a Japanese watch brand known for its line of Japan Self-Defense Force watches. Now, the brand has expanded into anime with its Cowboy Bebop collab.
This limited-edition watch features the SEIKO NE88 automatic chronograph movement and comes with a premium black leather strap.
As for its case, it is made with stainless steel with Permalloy and soft iron. It also has 5 ATM water resistance, meaning it should be suitable for swimming.
Design-wise, the watch has a two-tone color scheme inspired by Spike’s iconic outfit.
It also features a Cowboy Bebop logo on the watch face, as well as hands based on the Bebop and Spike’s ship, the Swordfish II.
Other design elements include Spike’s Jericho 941R pistol, which is displayed on the watch’s calendar every 25th of the month.
Plus, the watch case back features a unique engraving for each of the 26 models. This engraving is based on each Cowboy Bebop episode.

Kentex x Cowboy Bebop Watch Features Eye-Popping Price Tag
This is far from the first premium anime collab, as shows such as Bocchi the Rock! and Spy x Family have gotten jewelry collections previously, but it might be one of the most expensive ones up for order right now.
That’s because each watch has a price tag of 297,000 JPY (around 1,960 USD). While there are lots of luxury watches more expensive than this, the price is definitely high for an anime collab.
It makes sense though, considering that only 26 will be made. This does mean only the most dedicated (and deep-pocketed) Cowboy Bebop fans will likely get one.

Cowboy Bebop 25th Anniversary Kentex Watch Release Date
Pre-orders for the Kentex Cowboy Bebop watch are available now on the brand’s official online shop. The watch is then scheduled to ship in late June 2024.
As with other premium anime collabs, this watch will be shipped only in Japan, meaning buyers outside of Japan will need to use package forwarding services.
