Cowboy Bebop Live-Action Series Wraps Filming on the First Season

That's a wrap for the first season of Cowboy Bebop. Daniella Pineda, who will play Faye Valentine in the upcoming live-action series adaptation of the anime, celebrated the end of filming in an awesome Instagram post.

Pineda shared the image on her official Instagram account. It features the actress wearing a cool Spike Spiegel T-shirt and has a celebratory caption. Check it out below.

"I'm coming back on the air to say.....Season 1 of COWBOY BEBOP is finally, finished. Gonna dip again but will return after these messages," Pineda wrote.

This is great news considering that fans have been waiting for the new Netflix series for a long time. Although Cowboy Bebop was announced and started production in 2019, filming had to be delayed due to John Cho's knee injury. Production would be delayed even further due to COVID-19.

Luckily, filming resumed in September 2020 with a well-healed Cho. Now that production has wrapped, we could be getting an official trailer and the show's release date in the next few weeks.

Cowboy Bebop is based on the sci-fi anime of the same name and follows the bounty hunters working on the spaceship Bebop. Led by former crime syndicate hitman Spike Spiegel, the crew set off on several disastrous mishaps that often leave them without money.

The series will also star Cho as Spike, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, Elena Satine as Julia, and Alex Hassell as Vicious. In addition to that, it was confirmed that the cast will feature an adorable corgi like Ein.

The first season of Cowboy Bebop has not yet been given an official release date but is expected to premiere later this year. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
