Cowboy Bebop Drops New Photos of Pierrot Le Fou, Asimov and Katerina

We already know that the live-action Cowboy Bebop series will bring in some of the anime's iconic baddies. Luckily, we now have a better look at the show's most recognized villains. The new photos of Pierrot Le Fou, as well as Asimov and Katerina, have been dropped.

Netflix has been celebrating the recent release of the Cowboy Bebop trailer. After all, the teaser showed us just how action-packed the new series is going to be. The official Netflix Geeked Twitter account has also dropped some new stills and this time, it's all about the baddies. Check them out below.

Asimov and Katerina are actually the first villains introduced in the Cowboy Bebop anime. Asimov is the first bounty-head that Spike Spiegel goes after in the episode Asteroid Blues. It is later revealed that he is working with Katerina, who makes an impression on Spike. They will be played by Jan Uddin and Lydia Peckham in the show.

Mad Pierrot Tongpu is one of the most interesting characters featured in the anime. He appears in the 20th episode Pierrot Le Fou and is revealed to be a subject of a lab experiment to create the perfect killer. He is virtually indestructible, making him a difficult baddie to face. Tongpu will be portrayed by Josh Randall.

It's great to know that Asimov and Katerina, as well as Pierrot Le Fou, are all appearing in the live-action series. Although Mad Pierrot is decidedly less round than his anime counterpart, the criminal couple look exactly as they appear in Asteroid Blues. Needless to say, we can't wait to see them all in action this November.

Cowboy Bebop will star John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine, Alex Hassell as Vicious, and Elena Satine as Julia. The series is set to premiere on Netflix on November 19, 2021.
