Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture Streaming on Disney Plus Worldwide

Code Geass fans are in for a treat soon, because Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture is confirmed to release on Disney Plus following its Japanese premiere.

Details about the film series’ Japanese theatrical release dates along with the Disney Plus streaming window were shared at AnimeJapan 2024. There, a new trailer was also shared.

Code Geass Finally Returns With the Rozé of the Recapture Film Series

Code Geass is an iconic anime of the 2000s, and while it has not gotten a new series, the franchise continues to get new projects.

The latest of these is Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture, a new anime film series. It was initially announced back in December 2020, but it was only in December 2023 that more details were shared.

Instead of just being one film, the film series will feature four parts. What’s more, the series will feature a new set of characters.

Rozé of the Recapture Reveals More New Cast Members

Previously, the VAs of the main characters Rozé and Ash were revealed. At AnimeJapan 2024, thirteen more voice cast members were announced.

Here are all the confirmed voice cast members of the movie so far:

• Kohei Amasaki (Neito Monoma in My Hero Academia) as Rozé
• Makoto Furukawa (Saitama in One-Punch Man) as Ash
• Reina Ueda (Miyo Saimori in My Happy Marriage) as Sakuya
• Kana Ichinose (Fern in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End) as Chalice
• Hiroki Yasumoto (Mont Blanc in Pluto) as Noland
• Nao Toyama (Ruka Sarashina in Rent-a-Girlfriend) as Catherine
• Yumi Uchiyama (Kaede Akiyama in Kengan Ashura) as Nala
• Daisuke Hirakawa (Enmu in Demon Slayer) as Stanley
• Yasuyuki Kase (Kankuro in Naruto) as Walter
• Masaaki Mizunaka (Kakeru Ryuen in Classroom of the Elite) as Divock

Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture Theatrical Release Dates Announced

Along with the cast, the anime film series got a new trailer that showed off lots of footage. Moreover, the trailer came with the reveal of the anime’s theatrical release dates in Japan.

Here are the premiere dates of each part:

1. Part 1 – May 10, 2024
2. Part 2 – June 7, 2024
3. Part 3 – July 5, 2024
4. Part 4 – August 2, 2024

There’s no word on if these films will also be released in theaters internationally.

Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture's Disney Plus Release Window

Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture will premiere worldwide on Disney Plus via the platform’s Star brand in late June 2024.

There’s no word on a specific release date so far. It’s also not clear which parts will be streamed in late June. It’s likely that only Part 1 will be streamed on Disney Plus to start but this is unconfirmed.
