Clark Gregg Burns 'Captain Marvel' Haters

Captain Marvel continues to be a success with solid reviews, making it a typical MCU movie. This could be seen as a bad thing since it doesn't push the envelope but that's usually how first installments are. At the least, it's far from the "end of the MCU," which a lot of insecure fake fans tried to say about this movie.

Haters, trolls, fake fans, either way, Phil Coulson actor Clark Gregg decided to give them a solid burn by calling them butt hurt. Speaking with Nerdist, Gregg had this to say about all of these toxic fans who are hating on the movie for no good reason:

"I don't know if the expression is butthurt about seeing someone else get a hero that looks like them, but that's because they've always had heroes that looked like them."
"There are people that get very bent out of shape about the fact that she's a woman, and that Brie's a woman, and wants to see women moving into an equal place in humanity to men. It's sad. It must be sad to be that kind of dinosaur wandering towards the tar pits."

Gregg clearly has no problem telling off these fans and it's good to see. Don't get us wrong, people are allowed to dislike the movie for its storytelling flaws and how it doesn't push the superhero envelope. That being said, if you've already decided to hate on it and haven't even seen the movie, you're just terrible.

Captain Marvel is now showing in theaters.
