Since the inception of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there has been a debate within the fandom as to which member of the Avengers could take the title of the "strongest" hero. Of course, fans have their respective picks — from Captain America to Scarlet Witch but if you'd ask one of the franchise's longest-tenured stars, he definitely knows the answer to the long-standing question.

Thor actor Chris Hemsworth recently took to Twitter to celebrate the triumph of Thor: Love and Thunder's highly anticipated trailer which garnered 209 million views during its first 24 hours across all social media platforms which is quite an impressive feat.

Posting a GIF image of "Fat Thor" getting back in his godly shape, Hemsworth thanked the "world's best fans" who made it possible. He also called the God of Thunder the "world's strongest Avenger" and it pretty much settles the debate, I guess. Check out the post below:

There's no denying that Odinson is one of the MCU's most compelling characters and there's a reason why he's still considered one of the franchise's main players. Now, with regards to him being the Earth's Mightiest Heroes' "strongest", at the end of the day, it will still go down to a matter of preference but Thor definitely deserves to be in contention as he has proven time and time again just how "worthy" he truly is.

That said, Thor: Love and Thunder is currently slated for release on July 8, 2022.
