How's Kim in Chicago PD Season 9?
The series is expected to pick up where it left last season. In Season 8, Kim is fighting for her life following an encounter with villainous criminals. She will likely survive, but the life-threatening experience may cause psychological damage on her end. In an interview with Hello! Squerciati hinted that her character will be going through something dark this season.
"[Kim is] really affected in the beginning. Whatever she is suffering though, she's put a mask on in front of her kid, which is something we all do … But she is fighting a darker side of herself and that's winning," she said.
Apparently, Chicago PD Season 9 will be an emotional season. Viewers can expect a lot of drama and heartache. But, for sure, the writers will still find ways to give the series a little bit of balance.
Chicago PD Season 9 Episode 1 Spoilers
As mentioned, Kim will likely be rescued and she will put up with a great fight. However, the psychological effect might put her at risk.
According to The Cinemaholic, the current season will likely shed some light on her fate and the character might not defeat death this time. Or she probably will.
The episode title is "Closure" which suggests that someone might be bidding goodbye. The team will do everything to locate her kidnappers.
Detective Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) will team up with Detective Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) and he may get back to his old ways.
Meanwhile, Deputy Superintendent Samantha Miller (Nicole Ari Parker) may finally identify her son's assailant and get some closure about the cause.
