DC has released another teaser for the sequel to Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's acclaimed Dark Knights: Metal. We already saw a promotional image where Wonder Woman had a sick chainsaw-like sword and now we have a Superman who is ready for a bare-knuckle brawl. It's one of the most intense images of the classic DC character we've ever seen and it will surely interest fans of the comic company.
Having Superman rock the long hair for this Dark Knights: Metal sequel is an interesting decision, as is the overpowered arm. His red eyes are basically a signature look for the character, though we have to admit that it's effective every time we see them. It looks like this isn't his and was attached to him somehow, though we'll have to wait for the comic book itself before we know what happened to him.
We're still not sure how Superman and Wonder Woman factor into this story, though they will probably play a big role. After all, they, along with Batman, were clearly the main characters of Dark Knights: Metal, though other heroes did play a role. Hopefully, the sequel manages to live up to our lofty expectations and ends up being an awesome comic book.
