Check Out James Gunn’s Wild Character Roster For Suicide Squad 2

There's been a lot of curiosity over the line-up for Warner Brother's Suicide Squad sequel. Ever since word came out that James Gunn would be writing (and would be possibly directing) Suicide Squad 2, fans have been wondering what exactly would the film's character line-up be considering the fact that the filmmaker's "focus is to take the franchise in a new direction with a mostly all-new cast of characters and actors."

We've always known that Margot Robbie would be making her way back as Harley Quinn and this week word's come out that Warner Brothers has been negotiating with Idris Elba to replace Will Smith as the DC Extended Universe's Deadshot. Now, fans might have the new deets on the rest of the line-up.

Collider has a list of the characters that might appear in Gunn's new Suicide Squad movie and apparently, the film might include some pretty wild personalities.

First, there's Ratcatcher, a super criminal that's been one of Batman's enemies. A fan of poisonous gas, Otis Flanagan will be gender-swapped in Suicide Squad 2.

Then there's Nanaue, otherwise known as King Shark, a humanoid shark whose father is believed to be the Shark God. Others dismiss this character as a savage mutation.

Polka Dot Man will also appear in the film. For those who aren't familiar with the character Mister Polka Dot is a Gotham super-villain with the ability to grow multi-colored polka dots on his body which he turns into fireballs and all sorts of weapons.

Last but not the least, we're also getting Peacemaker, an extreme believer in pacifism who would kill for peace.

Knowing Gunn's penchant for obscure characters in Marvel, this line up definitely doesn't come as a surprise. It's a solid roster though, and we can't wait to see what Gunn does with Suicide Squad 2.
