Fans are still reeling over the fact that Charlie Cox's Daredevil is finally crossing over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe but as exciting as it is to see Matt Murdock sharing the screen with Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home, some fans weren't actually focused on the actor's mind-blowing cameo but rather his physical appearance. There's this rumor circulating all over the internet that Cox wasn't wearing real glasses during his brief cameo.

In fact, Marvel conspiracists are convinced that the eyewear he was sporting was CGI'd and it's become a subject of debate within the fandom since No Way Home came out. Now, Charlie is finally setting the record straight to put an end to the equally absurd and hilarious discourse.

Speaking with ComicBook, the 39-year-old star pretty much debunked the crazy conspiracy and confirmed that he is in fact wearing actual glasses. He said: "No, I wore red glasses. Why? I don't understand, why would that be? I remember there may have been a conversation about tint, but no, I was wearing my glasses, yeah."

In other news, Netflix's Marvel shows have found a new home in Disney+ and while we're still being kept in the dark whether or not they're now canon to the MCU, it would be safe to assume that Marvel Studios will finally acknowledge their existence in the franchise. The biggest question is, will Cox's The Defenders co-stars Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, and Finn Jones also join him and Vincent D'Onofrio in Earth-616?

Meanwhile, Charlie Cox is expected to make his next MCU appearance in She-Hulk.
