He debuted in the West End in the revival of the Harold Pinter plays The Lover and The Collection. He continuously did Pinter’s dramas with Betrayal in 2019 after his consecutive successes onscreen in the 2010s.

He started playing the role of Matt Murdock in the mini-series The Defenders in 2017 and reprised his role in Daredevil and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Charlie Cox Return to MCU

Charlie Cox will return to the MCU with Vincent D’Onofrio as Daredevil and Kingpin, respectively, in the new Disney+ series Echo.

The show will also feature the Hawkeye breakout star Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new series is Marvel Studio’s latest effort to bring the characters from the canned Marvel shows on Netflix, like Daredevil, to life again.

Echo will feature a storyline where Matt Murdoch’s alter ego, Daredevil, is looking out for a former ally.

So, who could it be? It’s none other than his The Defenders fellow superhero, Jessica Jones.

For starters, Jessica Jones also has her own series on Netflix with the same name, played by Krysten Ritter.

As Ritter will reprise her role in Echo, it’s quite expected that it will also pave the way for Mike Colter’s Luke Cage, Finn Jones’ Iron Fist and Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher to return to the MCU.

This is not the first time Charlie Cox will be seen as the blind lawyer Matt Murdock again. To recall, he had a cameo role in the 2021 Spider-Man: No Way Home as Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) attorney.
