Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman has been laid to rest, one week after his untimely demise.
People were among the first media outlets to break the news and the entertainment website was able to obtain Chadwick's death certificate. According to the said document, the 43-year-old actor was buried last September 3 at Welfare Baptist Church Cemetery in Belton, South Carolina, just a few miles away from his hometown of Anderson.
The website also reports that Chadwick was honored in Anderson via a community memorial. A special screening of Black Panther was also shown on the same day of his burial to commemorate the actor's death.
Chadwick died on the 28th of August after an undisclosed four-year battle with colon cancer. His shocking passing made a huge impact and still remains to be a hard pill to swallow not only for his family, friends, and colleagues but for a lot of fans whom he was able to inspire and empower through his body of work. Chadwick's last appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe came in 2019's Avengers: Endgame.
