Netflix released several really good K-Dramas in 2023. One of those Kdramas, Celebrity, deals with real-life issues that influencers deal with. Because of its success, many are wondering if a second season is in the works. Here's what we know about Celebrity Season 2 right now.

What is Celebrity K-Drama About?
Celebrity is a Kdrama that follows a practical and determined woman, called Seo Ah-Ri (played by Park Gyu-Young), who is new to the influencer industry. She gained massive attention on social media for her no-nonsense personality and impeccable fashion.
Not to mention, she also captures the attention of a chaebol, Han Jun-Kyung (played by Kang Min-Hyuk).
But her success also brings jealousy from the Gabin Society influencers, who want nothing but to bring her down.
Ah-ri fakes her own death and exposes the secrets of the Gabin Society members so they can betray each other. In the end, the women destroy themselves and Ah-Ri also manages to discover the identity of bbbfamous (played by Kim No-Jin).

Will There Be a Celebrity Season 2?
As of this writing, Netflix has not yet released a statement on whether they will be renewing Celebrity for a second season. Even though the show received positive numbers, there is still no word on a second season.
However, we believe there won't be one since the story was completed in the first season. Those involved in illegal matters were revealed and taken care of by the police.
They also managed to discover the identity of bbbfamous, the person who was "helping" Ah-Ri at first and later turned the tables on her.
The show also ended on a positive note since it was revealed that Ah-Ri was alive and well. She had earned the support of Yoon Si-Hyeon (played by Lee Chung-Ah).
Finally, she is now together with Jun-Kyung.
If a second season should be ordered, the story may follow a new influencer who deals with something similar to what Ah-Ri went through.
It's also possible that the show will focus on what Ah-Ri is now doing and how she continues to be successful with or without social media.
Who Will Return in Celebrity Season 2?
Since nothing has been announced, let's take this with a grain of salt. We'd like to see Jun-Kyung and Gyu-Young reprise their roles as Min-Hyuk and Ah-Ri, respectively.
It would also be good to see Chung-Ah reprise her role as Si-Hyeon.
Of course, Ah-Ri's family and friends will likely return if the show gets a second season.
