Captain Marvel Star Brie Larson Is ‘Super Into’ All-Female Marvel Movie

Last year, Thor: Ragnarok star Tessa Thompson started pushing for an all-female Marvel movie. Now, newcomer Brie Larson, Marvel's new star set to make her debut as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's strongest Avenger in Captain Marvel, gives her support.

Speaking with Screen Rant during a press junket for Captain Marvel, Larson expressed her shared interest in a possible all-female Avengers movie. Though she tried to play it safe by starting off her answer with the uncertainty of the fate of the Avengers, the Marvel star does double down on her interest in an all-female Marvel movie.

"I'm scared and I don't know what the future holds either. I'm not let into those top-secret meetings, so we'll see. We'll see what happens," Larson told the publication, "I love all the female characters so much. So, of course, like that's what I'm interested in. I'm super into an all-female Avengers movie. Yeah, I think that would just be, it would just be cool to see all of them interact together."

Larson isn't the only one interested in an all-female team-up movie. Gamora actress Zoe Saldana, Nebula star Karen Gillan, Mantis actress Pom Klementieff, and Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson, have all reportedly chimed in on the idea too.

Of course, as exciting as it might sound, the possibility of these stars appearing in an all-female Marvel movie depends on the outcome of Avengers: Endgame. It isn't going to be easy battling Thanos and undoing the Decimation. Who knows who we'll lose.

Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
