Captain Marvel May Very Well Lead Two Teams in the MCU

Last week, word came out that Marvel is officially developing a sequel to Captain Marvel, Brie Larson's very first standalone movie as Marvel's strongest Avenger, Carol Danvers. Now, a new report suggests that Captain Marvel may lead two different teams in the Marvel Cinematic Universe,

Ever since Marvel announced Captain Marvel's arrival in the MCU, the studio has been building up Carol Danvers as the new face of the franchise. Captain Marvel has long been expected to lead the A-Force and now that Marvel is heading into Phase 4 of the MCU, Cheat Sheet reports that Carol Danvers may very well lead another team alongside the other ā€“ The Ultimates.

To the uninitiated, the Ultimates is a group of superheroes made up of Black Panther, Spectrum, Blue Marvel, Ms. America, and Captain Marvel. This group comes together to deal with cosmic threats to Earth and to the larger universe. The A-Force on the other hand are the defenders of Arcadia assembled by Singularity to fight alongside one another. This team is made up of heroes like Armor, Black Widow, Angela, Black Cat, Carol Danvers, Cassie Lang, Crystal, Clea, Dazzler, Domino, and a whole number of other female heroes.

While Larson long since been petitioning for an all-female group in the MCU together with her Endgame co-stars like Tessa Thompson and Scarlett Johansson, Marvel would probably also want to consider bringing Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther together with Captain Marvel.
