Captain Marvel Had Two Awesome Pulp Fiction Easter Eggs

We could always expect some awesome Easter Eggs in Marvel Cinematic Universe films that reference the other movies. However, it looks like Captain Marvel actually paid tribute to another Samuel L. Jackson flick. Did you spot these Pulp Fiction Easter Eggs in the film?

Spoilers Ahead! You Have Been Warned!

The first Pulp Fiction Easter Egg happens pretty early in the film. When Carol Danvers gives chase to a Skrull, Nick Fury and Phil Coulson immediately get in a car and go after her as well. At one point, there is a shot of the two in their vehicle that looks a lot like a sequence from the Quentin Tarantino film. Take a look at the image below.

That's already awesome as it is but there's another Pulp Fiction reference that involves Ben Mendelsohn's Talos. Check it out below.

The Pulp Fiction references certainly make sense since Captain Marvel has Jackson. In addition to that, the movie was released back in 1994 and would still be significant in 1995 when Captain Marvel was set.

Pulp Fiction also starred John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Amanda Plummer, Ving Rhames, Rosanna Arquette, Eric Stoltz, and Christopher Walken.

Captain Marvel is currently enjoying a successful opening weekend. The MCU flick has already earned a stunning $455 million globally on its first weekend alone. There is little doubt that the movie will only soar higher, faster, further in the coming weeks.

Captain Marvel is currently screening in theaters worldwide.
