Captain Marvel: Carol Interacts With Kree Children in This Deleted Scene

Captain Marvel was a flawed but fairly decent MCU film. While it had some great special effects and a strong protagonist, many felt that its story was lacking and the character's origins could have been more interesting. Still, many did fall in love with Carol Danvers and there seems to be more room for her character to grow in a sequel, especially with the whole "guarding the galaxy" angle that Endgame ran with.

In the meantime, we have this deleted scene (thanks io9) that would have been an interesting addition to the film. While it doesn't add much on its own, the fact that Carol and Yon-Rogg get to inspire young Kree to conquer the Skrulls is fairly terrifying in hindsight. It emphasizes how the Kree are a race of conquerors and this thought process is implemented in their brains fairly early.

Danvers doesn't kill Yon-Rogg at the end so there's a high possibility that Jude Law's villain could be making a return in future films. Having disappointed the Supreme Intelligence, seeing how the Kree respond should make for an intriguing watch. Some fans are also speculating that some Skrulls are going to turn heel, leading to a Secret Invasion arc.

Captain Marvel hits digital services on May 28 and Blu-Ray on June 11.
