You may know Park Eun-bin as a talented actress who earned global recognition for her acting skills in Extraordinary Attorney Woo. In her TV comeback role, the actress plays an aspiring singer who was stuck on a deserted island for 15 years. With this role, we can't help but wonder whether Park Eun-bin can actually sing in real life.

Who Does Park Eun-bin Play in Castaway Diva?
Park Eun-bin stars in Castaway Diva as Seo Mok-ha, a 31-year-old aspiring singer who got stuck on a deserted island for 15 years.
From the show's pilot episode, we learned that as a young girl (played by Lee Re), Mok-ha escaped from her hometown to try her luck as a singer in Seoul.
She had previously won the attention of her idol, Yoon Ran-joo (played by Kim Hyo-jin) after her friend submitted a music video of Mok-ha singing.
Although the young actress plays a vibrant and ambitious character, she hides the truth from everyone else: she is the victim of abuse from her father.
Her friend, Jung Ki-ho (played by Moon Woo-jin), decided to help her out by helping her board a ferry to Seoul to meet Ran-joo's manager. But when Mok-ha's father found out, he tried to stop her from leaving.
Ki-ho shielded the entrance to the ferry and was badly beaten by Mok-ha's father. When the ferry managed to leave, Mok-ha's father got on board and tried to get his daughter.
Mok-ha, however, was decided to escape. She jumped from the ferry and her father followed her. Unfortunately, he did not survive.
Mok-ha, on the other hand, got swept away to an uninhabited island where she stayed for 15 years waiting to be rescued.
When she finally got rescued, she pursued her goal of meeting her idol, who had already become insignificant to the public eye at this time. Despite this, Mok-ha decides to help her out by lending her voice to the former diva.
So Did Park Eun-bin Really Sing in Castaway Diva?
In the first episode of Castaway Diva, we hear the younger actress of Eun-bin's character belt out a lively tune. Meanwhile, we hear Mok-ha singing a song backstage as Ran-joo lip-syncs in front of an audience.
So was that really Eun-bin's voice? Surprisingly, yes! The actress can sing in real life.
If you aren't familiar with Eun-bin's talent, she actually sang the official soundtrack of Extraordinary Attorney Woo, which was entitled The Blue Night of Jeju Island.
In Castaway Diva, Mok-ha sang Someday, a new song that is not yet available on streaming platforms. This song is one of Ran-joo's original hits that Mok-ha secretly sang backstage.
This is because Ran-joo was suddenly asked to sing live instead of lip-syncing as she normally does.
At the end of the number, Ran-joo walks to where Mok-ha is and gives her a tight hug. As viewers, it also gives us the satisfaction of the journey that Mok-ha went through for 15 years. But this is only the start.
