After a photo of BTS J-Hope's military meal went viral, there have been talks about Korean soldiers' diets.

One fan even created a Twitter account solely for what the idol ate during his military service, but former soldiers claimed the food posted on the page was far from reality.

Twitter account HobisFoodtray shares the meals J-Hope eats during his enlistment. But ex-military trainees called the page out, claiming the snaps it features are photoshopped.

J-Hope's Alleged Military Meals

According to AllKpop, the fan obtained the military's menu information from the 36th Division barracks' standard diet published on the Ministry of National Defense's public data portal.

One of the meals the fan shared was the 29-year-old's alleged dinner, composed of wheat rice, Sausage Jjigae, stir-fried pork small intestine and sundae, stir-fried fish cake with red pepper, white kimchi, and instant black bean ramen.

The former Korean soldier argued that military meals posted online are from reality. They said the images didn't accurately depict the actual meals served in the military.

"It's frustrating to see photoshopped images of high-quality food on Twitter when, in reality, the military serves low-quality meals," they said.

"I'd like to serve the person promoting these photos the military food I used to eat," they continued.
