BTS Suga To Release New Album Under Stage Name

The Korea Times cited BigHit Music’s confirmation Monday, saying that the BTS member would debut his solo album D-Day under a stage name.

Arriving on April 21, the solo album will be Suga’s first music project using Agust D as his stage name.

BigHit Music said Suga wrote and composed all the songs in the album. He also joined the process and participated in the overall production so he could share his “sincere personal story.”

BTS Suga To Set a Record With Solo Tour

Amid BTS members’ solo endeavors, Suga will make history as he embarks on his solo tour.

He announced his upcoming solo concerts for this month, which would officially make him the first member of BTS to have solo shows.

Suga will start his global concert leg at UBS Arena in New York on April 26 to 27. He will then perform at the Prudential Center in Newark. The rapper will then visit Los Angeles, Chicago, Oakland, Jakarta, Bangkok, Kailang, and Seoul.

The organizers said he would also have Japan shows.

Suga and the other members of BTS have been busy with their own projects. Jin, on the other hand, started his 18-month military service.

“We support and encourage our artists and are beyond proud that they will each now have time to explore their unique interests and do their duty by being of service to the country they call home,” BigHit Music said in October.
