BTS Jimin and the rest of the group surprised their global fandom upon launching their respective personal Instagram accounts. This came after it took the septet more than seven years to be on the social media platform using their own pages.

However, not all members of the K-pop act had been active on it since the launch of their accounts. Jimin was one of them who rarely posts updates and later admitted to being “scared” of using Instagram.

Why He Was Scared Of The Platform Explained

Jimin shared his reason during an engagement with his co-members earlier in March. He told them he could not go on Instagram because he was scared of potentially pressing “something wrong,” according to The International News.

Following his confession, though, the rest of BTS, especially leader RM, encouraged him to overcome his fears. He urged the vocalist to post something on the app, even revealing an “easier way” to engage with fans using the platform.

After hearing his co-members’ suggestions and pieces of advice, the FILTER singer seemingly overcame his fears and worries. It even led him to post a selfie later that day upon the end of their engagement.

Most Followed Fan-Made Page Dedicated To Jimin

Prior to launching their personal feeds, Jimin and the rest of the group had utilized only one official account on the platform since their debut. But, this did not hinder fans and followers from creating fan pages dedicated to the idols.

The most followed fan-made Instagram account for the BTS member carries the handle, “jimin.” It has over 4.7 million followers with a total of 3,013 posts.
