BTS J-Hope confirmed he wouldn't be enlisting today, April 11, on a live stream on Weverse Monday, April 10, amid the rumors that he's about to begin his mandatory military service any moment.

Big Hit Music revealed that J-Hope would enlist as an active-duty soldier around mid-April. Hence, many thought it would happen on April 11. But no, the BTS member is yet to begin his military enlistment.

J-Hope Will Not Enlist Yet

Amid the fans' growing concern, the 29-year-old went online to assure fans he wouldn't enlist yet.

"Everyone, I'm not going tomorrow," he said via AllKpop. "I'll come to see you this week through live streaming. My ARMYs, don't have a hard time. Love you, ARMYs."

He gave fans a finger heart to show his love for them and ensured he would meet them again and keep them updated about his enlistment.

Though there are reports that J-Hope already knows the official date of his enlistment, he's yet to share it with the public.

J-Hope Receives Notice for Military Enlistment

In a report by Economic Times on March 17, J-Hope confirmed he had received the notice for his military enlistment, making him the second BTS member to serve his mandatory military service after Jin, who enlisted in December 2022.

In a live broadcast, the rapper revealed he already had an enlistment date, and when he returned, he wanted to show everyone a better side of himself.

He also said Jin had contacted him after receiving the notice and advised him on what he would need.

During his military time, the hitmaker's goal was to "stay in good condition and not get old."

Big Hit Music Confirms J-Hope's Military Service

Big Hit Music confirmed J-Hope would enlist as an active-duty soldier around mid-April.

"J-Hope intends on enlisting as an active duty soldier, and there will be no separate or official ceremony at the time and date of his enlistment at the new recruit training center," it announced.

"The enlistment ceremony held at the training center is a place meant for new recruits and their family and close friends," the company continued. "In order to prevent any chaotic situations and safety accidents, we strongly insist that fans do not visit the site. Please just send your warm wishes of greetings and encouragements in heart only."

Before his enlistment, J-Hope dropped his solo song, "On the Street," featuring J.Cole, and a documentary titled J-Hope in The Box.
