The Titans Season 2 trailer is here and it's getting straight to the good stuff, which means a nice little showcase for returning characters, along with the debut of some new faces. In a really funny move, the trailer completely glosses over the show's Season 1 cliffhanger, which has Trigon in control of Dick Grayson. While it probably won't be brushed off in the show, it seems even DC Universe knows that the newer faces are way more important.
Right at the beginning, we see Bruce Wayne, played by Game of Thrones star Ian Glein, along with the returns of Starfire, Beast Boy, Jason Todd, Raven, Hawk, Dove, Donna Troy (now in costume), before we get a peek at Superboy, Krypto, and Deathstroke. There's a lot of DC love here and fans will be eating it up until the show's release, which is September 6.
Other new characters who appear include fan-favorite Aqualad and Rose Wilson aka Ravager aka the daughter of Deathstroke. It seems like the Titans will be going more public as a group or are returning to the public spotlight since Jason says "The Titans are back," which indicates that. Either way, there's a lot to sink your teeth into and we can't wait to see what kind of craziness this show has in store for us.
Catch the debut of Titans Season 2 on DC Universe on September 6. The entire first season can currently be streamed on DC Universe and Netflix in other countries.
