Brie Larson Has Reportedly Been Offered Multiple Roles in DCEU

There might have been a lot of controversy when Marvel released Captain Movie last year, however, Brie Larson's first standalone movie became a box office success, raking in $1 billion at the global market.

Now, as fans wait for the beginning of the production of Captain Marvel 2, a new report reveals that Larson has been offered the chance to join the DC Extended Universe.

According to a report by We Got This Covered, sources close to Warner Brothers say that Larson has been offered the chance to play numerous characters in the DCEU in the hopes that the actress might sign in on to the franchise. The studio is reportedly eager to have the Marvel star on board and is trying to spin the wheel by putting out different roles for Larson to choose from.

These roles reportedly include Lady Blackhawk, Hawkwoman, Big Barda, and Zatanna. Warner Brothers is hoping to establish more female heroes as prominent figures in the DCEU and so they're hoping to reel in a big-name actress like Larson.

Of course, as with any rumor, we advise fans to take this report with a large grain of salt. It's hard to imagine Larson signing a contract with Warner Brothers knowing that she's still attached to the MCU. Besides, Warner Brothers would probably be better off with an actress that doesn't have such a prominent role in DC's rival franchise. This rumor seems highly unlikely.

DC's next movie, Wonder Woman 1984, is set to release on August 12, 2020.
