Boruto's Crying Face Criticized for Bad Animation

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations just had one of the most painful episodes to date after the team lost Kagura in a fight against Funamushi but what stole the scene is the face of Boruto crying his heart out for the loss of his friend. However, instead of being a dramatic scene, many fans criticized it for the bad animation and it seems like a new meme is born.

The most recent episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations deals with the aftermath of the loss of Kagura after giving his all against Funamushi in hopes of saving his friends. Kagura’s death was so much that Boruto exploded using his Karma against Funamushi. It was supposed to be a dramatic sequence, however, fans burst into laughter and criticized the crying face of Boruto for being so badly animated.

Other than the badly animated face of Boruto while crying, the fight was also criticized for being mediocre and again, it is the animation that gave it away, easily one of the most pivotal scenes in this arc is to be laughed at because of animation lapses. Every viewer thought it should have been much better if the animation on the scene was polished.

The studio, Pierrot, is yet to make a statement regarding the issue but some understood that the show is on a tight weekly release schedule. Given the challenges that the pandemic still poses on the industry, time remains constricted with the production of the shows.
