The Mandalorian's Chapter 14 may have been criminally short but it is easily one of the best episodes Season 2 has produced. The Tragedy saw the returns of Fennec Shand and Boba Fett and towards the end of the episode, it was teased that Mando will be forming some sort of an alliance with them to rescue Grogu aka The Child from Moff Gideon and the Galactic Empire.

Now, you might have missed this one but there's apparently a hidden Boba Fett easter egg in the episode which is a nod at the classic Western film The Magnificent Seven. In one scene from the action-packed Chapter 14, Boba Fett was aiming his tracking device at one of the Empire's Stormtrooper ships, hitting it with his missile. The ship then falls and proceeds to clash with another one. Mando would later compliment Boba for the awesome shot but he responds with, "I was aiming for the other one."

Reddit user boringdystopianslave quickly pointed out that the one-liner actually pays homage to a similar dialog from The Magnificent Seven where a sharpshooter named Britt says, "I was aiming at the horse." The good folks over at Inverse have suggested that the Boba Fett easter egg could be a direct hint at how Season 2 will end with Mando forming his own Magnificent Seven to save Baby Yoda. The members of Mando's alliance could potentially be Cara Dune, Ahsoka Tano, Bo-Katan, Fennec Shand, Boba Fett, and Cobb Vanth.

This theory isn't exactly too farfetched for you to actually believe since it's been clear from the get-go that The Mandalorian draws huge inspiration from old Western films and you're blind not to see that. It's also quite obvious that we may see a grand showdown between Moff's army and Mando's dream team because clearly, Din Djarin won't be able to save Grogu alone. He'll definitely need some backup.

The Mandalorian Season 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
