South Korean celebrities always appear and participate in variety shows. Jennie of BLACKPINK is no different, and the same is true for the rest of the K-pop group.

In one of her previous engagements, the SOLO singer said a few lines that captured the attention of the public. It took place nearly three years ago but, a recent report unearthed what happened back then.

Koreaboo recalled the moment when Jennie and the rest of the participants had to "present" a specific question in their own ways. The question that was given to them was: "Do you want to go out with me?"

How Jennie Presented The Question

The BLACKPINK member shared her “presentation” confidently. She said, “aren’t I pretty? I’m rich. I work at YG.”

The publication described the idol’s response as “iconic” and perfect. Fans seemingly agreed based on the comments they shared on the video.

The engagement was a brief moment that took place in the sixth episode of Village Survival, the Eight. It went on air last December 2018, but fans may stream the installments on social media platforms, like YouTube.

Jennie and GD's Dating Rumors

In relation to asking someone out and dating, the BLACKPINK vocalist faced massive relationship rumors earlier this year. This came after local outlet Dispatch alleged that Jennie and BIGBANG member GD had been in a relationship for over a year.

Several speculations and claims surrounding the subject emerged from various media platforms. However, the two K-pop idols have since maintained their silence.

Following the reports, YG Entertainment released an official statement. Elle noted that their label did not deny the rumors. Although, it did say that they could not confirm the reports, considering that it is “private.”

The Latest On BLACKPINK

Meanwhile, the popular K-pop group has yet to release new music productions in the last few months. Two of the members, Lisa and Rosé, though, dropped their respective solo debut albums in 2021.

Despite this, BLACKPINK recently made a historical feat with their YouTube channel. Soompi said that they became the first artist to surpass 70 million subscribers on the platform.
