It will still be a few months before we get to see Black Widow but there are already several new updates about the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. The latest one is an awesome photo featuring Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff and Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova teaming up in the film.
The exclusive new image shared by Empire features Nat and Yelena facing each other in that apartment that we have already seen in the trailers. Check it out below.
It's a great shot that somehow confirms how the two initially have some distrust for each other after being apart for a long time. After all, this is possibly the first scene we see them reunited and we all know how they immediately attack each other. Nevertheless, it's a relief to know that Nat and Yelena will eventually work together in Black Widow.
Although Black Widow has been delayed repeatedly in the past, Disney and Marvel Studios are finally sticking to its new release date. This is because the MCU flick will get a split release and will be made available on Disney+ on the same day as its theatrical premiere. With that in mind, we're expecting fans to go nuts when the movie is finally dropped.
Black Widow is directed by Cate Shortland and will also star David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov aka Red Guardian, Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff, and OT-Fagbenie as Rick Mason. The film will premiere in selected theaters and on Disney+ through Premier Access on July 9, 2021.
