Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Unveils New Character Posters


Exactly a month before its highly-anticipated release, Marvel Studios released brand new character posters for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which featured the main characters of the film where they can be seen posing against a black background.

The characters who are featured in this new batch of posters are Shuri (who is speculated to be taking the Black Panther mantle during the film), Namor, Queen Ramonda, Nakia, Okoye, M'Baku, Everett Ross, Riri Williams, Ayo, Aneka, Namora, and Attuma.

They also released a new featurette titled "Return to Wakanda" where the cast discussed doing the film without Chadwick Boseman and how they are honoring him as well as some insights on the anticipated introduction of Namor, who will be introduced as the antagonist of the film.

This is definitely a sign that the film is officially ramping up its marketing campaign to hype the audience's excitement as a lot of them are looking forward to seeing this, especially with the circumstance surrounding Boseman's death prior to production. You can tell that the people involved put their heart and soul in order to make this a special film and truly honor the late actor.

The film's premise reads: "Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje, fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda."

The cast includes Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Dominique Thorne, Florence Kasumba, Michaela Coel, Tenoch Huerta, Martin Freeman, and Angela Bassett. Ryan Coogler directed the film and co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Robert Cole.
