Black Panther: Wakanda Forever First Reactions Are In: "Powerfully Good," "Best Movie from Phase 4"

There has been a lot of hype surrounding Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Not only because we're getting a new MCU film just around the corner, but it will also pay tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman and give us a view of how Wakanda will move forward without its King. However, with all the excitement, fans are also wondering whether the film will deliver the goods or not.

Last night, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever had its highly-anticipated world premiere where some critics and journalists got the opportunity to see the film before it becomes available to the public. They were also allowed to share their first reactions on social media after the screening.

Based on the early responses, it looks like the film did deliver the goods as most of them are giving it positive raves. Most praises are given to Ryan Coogler's direction, its poignant tribute to Boseman, exploration of grief, action sequences, production values, music, and the performances of the cast including Tenoch Huerta, who is making his MCU debut as Namor.

Obviously, everything here is subjective and you might end up having a similar or different opinion once you see the film yourself in just less than three weeks. Either way, this is a positive sign that the audience will end up loving the film and it looks like it was able to close Phase Four in a grand fashion which is what fans are hoping for.

Most especially, it looks like they were able to successfully pay tribute to Boseman and address how the world of Wakanda is moving forward without T'Challa as well as introduce Namor into the MCU.

The film's premise reads: "Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje, fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda."
