Black Panther actress Letitia Wright is still grieving the loss of Chadwick Boseman two months following his untimely death. Now, there's been a lot of talk as to what the future holds for the film's sequel considering its lead star is gone. Naturally, fans believe Letitia's character Shuri is the rightful successor to the Wakandan throne and the Black Panther mantle but according to Letitia, she's not even thinking about it.

In a new interview Net-A-Porter, Letitia shared that she's still mourning her close friend and on-screen brother. "We're just still mourning Chad, so it's not something I even want to think about." She continued by saying that doing Black Panther 2 without Boseman would feel odd. "The thought of doing it without him is kinda strange. We're just grieving at the moment, so it's trying to find the light in the midst of it."

As it stands, only Marvel Studios has the answer to all of our questions. It's still painful to think about a Black Panther movie without T'Challa himself but I'm pretty positive Boseman would've wanted his friends and colleagues to carry on despite the huge void he left. Should the supposed sequel ends up moving forward, expect it to be an emotional ride and a fitting send-off to the late Chadwick Boseman. If anything, Black Panther 2 should continue to honor the Wakandan warrior's legacy as he travels through the Astral Plane but that's just me.
