Avengers: Endgame's epic final battle sequence pretty much teased a potential team-up film feature the Women of Marvel. The thrilling scene which featured some of the MCU's female heroes like Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, Rescue, Wasp, Gamora, and Shuri, among others has delighted MCU fans all over but it also caused a bit of a controversy. Regardless, Brie Larson still expressed her desire to do an all-female Avengers film somewhere down the line, and although it remains a fantasy to a lot of fans, the chances of Marvel Studios potentially pulling the trigger are extremely high.

Now, Black Panther actress Letitia Wright somewhat confirmed actual plans for a live-action A-Force film and according to her, it's only a matter of time before it all unfolds. Speaking with Yahoo!, Wright shared her excitement about the potential project, claiming that they don't need to try to have it come to fruition. "I don't think we have to fight for it," she said. "Victoria Alonso is very strong about spearheading it, alongside Kevin. It's only a matter of time before they do it."

That's exciting news especially for fans who were thrilled to see Endgame's brief A-Force sequence. However, don't expect to see it go down anytime soon as Marvel Studios' MCU slate is quite stacked and it looks like they have bigger fish to fry. Interestingly, Wright's recent claims could hint that she's playing an even bigger role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe post-Endgame and that would be really cool to see.

Speaking of female MCU heroes, Black Widow will be hitting cinemas in May 2021.
